The adventure of Academy Bike continues on Sportitalia (DTT channel 60), the cycling school for everyone in the most beautiful locations in Italy. Hosts for the next three episodes of Academy Bike were Tenuta Il Cicalino and the suggestive Massa Marittima, a town in the heart of the Tuscan Maremma. Academy Bike with the 2008 World Champion Alessandro Ballan and the journalist Valentina Graziosi gave the participants an unforgettable experience in every respect.

The Academy Bike format on Sportitalia

The format of Academy Bike Sportitalia is very simple because it’s like going back to school – said Enzo Pregnolato from the Academy Bike team – you have fun, learn and put into practice, while enjoying the area. Simplicity is a great opportunity for everyone to practice, with professionalism and fun, pedaling alongside great champions, in this case former world champion Alessandro Ballan, who enthusiastically shares his skills and advice. All this in an exceptional place like the Tenuta Il Cicalino estate in Massa Marittima!

What happened in the Sportitalia Academy Bike in Maremma

Accompanying and guiding the enthusiasts on the weekend of 1-2-3 May was former professional cyclist and world champion Alessandro Ballan, who fielded all his human and technical baggage at the participants’ disposal. In the rich program of the Academy Bike, space was also given to the Maremma area and to some excellences of the region, such as the Le Mortelle Farm of the Marchesi Antinori and the Serraiola winery of the Lenzi sisters.

The Academy Bike with Alessandro Ballan was attended by: the racing bike enthusiasts of the Asd Albenga Bike, some professional athletes from the Bardiani CSF Faizanè Pro team, employees of the PISSEI company, the professional athletes of the Servetto – Makhymo – Beltrami team.
